“I've been brewing ales for the past 2-3 years now. Recently I have decided to try brewing a lager. My home brew store wasn’t very helpful with explaining to me the significant differences between brewing ales to lagers. Everywhere I looked on the net, including brew sites, brew forums, YouTube etc., no one explained it from start to finish, and the little hacks you can add to give your beer that can really elevate the taste and finishes of your lagers compared to normal home brews. This video course on lagering was brilliant. It was explained in so much detail, including different types of equipment for temp control, oxygenation (never considered this part) and what the best approaches to the fermentation profiles and conditioning during the lagering phase. I'm going to be applying all this new info I now have to my first lager brew this long Easter weekend. Wish me luck and thanks again.”
